The Test Series was a part of the World Test Championship Cycle 2023-25 therefore, Both will try to win the series to get crucial 20 points.
Rohit Sharma-led Team India is going to play the Test and ODI series against West Indies. The first Test match was scheduled from 12 July to 17 July at Windsor Park, and the Second was scheduled from 20 July to 24 July at Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad.
Kraigg Brathwaite will lead the West Indies Team for the upcoming Test Series at home against India. West Indies and India will play their first WTC Cycle 2023-25 match. The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has not announced their Test Squad for the Test series.
