The Ashes 2023: Major setback for England Due to Jofra’s Injury

The England Cricket Board (ECB) announced their squad for upcoming Summer matches in England. They gave an important update on Jofra Archer’s Injury. They said that Jofra Archer suffers from an elbow injury and is unavailable for the whole summer. Most probably, he will miss the upcoming Ashes 2023, which is going to start on 16th June.

The Third edition of WTC will start from Ashes 2023 and ends in June 2025. The Finals of WTC 2025 will be played at Lord’s Cricket Ground, England. This series will start a new WTC cycle with new rules and regulations. Unfortunately, the England team could not make it into the WTC Final 2023, but they will try their best to get into the WTC Final 2025.

Jofra Archer was Injured during an IPL match at Wankhede. Mumbai Indians announced the replacement of Jofra Archer for the rest of the season. Jofra Archer faced an elbow injury for a long time and it was a frustrating and painful period for him.

After the ECB confirmed that Jofra Archer would not play in the ashes 2023 and this is a good news for Australian team as England’s one of the best pacer is now injured.
