Five Players Whom Mumbai Indians (MI) Could Release:
1. Jofra Archer
Mumbai Indians bought Jofra Archer for 8 Crore in the IPL 2021 mega auction, and he wasn’t played the whole IPL 2022, whereas, In IPL 2023, He has played only five matches and was unfit, hence he left in the middle of the season, and went to the UK for medical checkups.
2. Riley Meredith
Riley Meredith has played for Mumbai Indians in the past as well, but In IPL 2023, he came as a replacement for Jhye Richardson, who was suffering from injury. Meredith had a very bad season as he leaked many runs in the IPL 2023 and could take only seven wickets.
3. Tristan Stubbs
Mumbai took Tristan Stubbs for the Finishing Role, but due to the fewer overseas slot and Other players were doing better than him So, he might get released by MI next season. He has played two matches in IPL 2023 and scored 25 runs with an average of 12.50.
4. Hrithik Shokeen
Hrithik Shokeen, A young off-break Bowler, was bought by Mumbai as a second spin option, but he could perform well in the last two seasons, and Mumbai will try to take other good spinners in the IPL 2024 Auction.
5. Duan Jansen
Duan Jansen was included in the MI’s squad because of his ability to hit the ball hard and he has good height, So some of his delivers were unplayable, but he wasn’t getting more chances, and due to the limited overseas sot, he might be released by MI next season.
