IPL 2023 Prize Money Players List, Winner Runner-up, Orange Cap, Purple Cap, Emerging Player, Most Valuable Player: As the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League(IPL) approaches its final stage, let’s check into the prize money awarded to the teams that reach the grand finale. The IPL is widely regarded as the Most prestigious domestic T20 League globally.

The IPL undoubtedly generates substantial revenues from broadcasting rights, sponsorship, and player payment, surpassing its rivals Leagues across the world in terms of financial and Fan folowing power. However, examining the actual earning of the tournament winners is essential.

In light of this, let’s closely examine the prize money available for the teams who secured a place in this year’s highly anticipated championship match.

IPL 2023 Prize Money Players list: 

1. IPL 2023 Winner

 The winner of the IPL will get a whopping amount of Rs 20 Crore as prize money with a shining trophy. The prize money for this year will be the same as the previous year. However, the official prize money is yet to be announced by the BCCI

2. IPL 2023 Runner-up

As the winner, the runner-up will also get an amount of Rs 13 Crore as the prize.

3. IPL 2023 3rd and 4th teams  

The teams at 3rd and 4th in the league will be awarded Rs 7 Crore each, respectively.

IPL 2023 awards list: 

1. Orange Cap (Leading Run Scorer)

The orange cap award is given to the batsman who has scored the maximum number of runs in the ongoing IPL.

The players are awarded prize money of Rs 15 Lakhs and a shining Orange colored cap.

2.Purple Cap (Leading wicket taker)

Purple Cap is awarded to the most wicket-taker in the season, The number of wickets taken throughout the season. Prize money of Rs 15 Lakhs with a Purple Cap Award is given to the Player.

3. IPL 2023 Emerging Player 

The Emerging player award is given to the young Player who has impressed with batting or bowling. There is a particular condition for the Emerging player.

  1. The players should be born after 1st April 1997.

  2. The Player should not have played more than 25 IPL matches in that edition of IPL 

  3. The Player should not have represented National Side in more than five tests and 20 ODIs 

  4. Player should not have won the Emerging Player Award before.

If the above condition is fulfilled, the Player is awarded the prize money of Rs 20 lakhs.

4. Super Striker 

The Player who has the highest strike rate throughout the season and scores run with a higher strike rate. The Player is awarded with prize money of Rs 15 Lakhs.

5. IPL 2023 Most Valuable Player 

The Player who has played some important knock at crucial moments in a match. The Player is awarded with prize money of Rs 12 Lakhs.

6. Power Player

The Power Player award is given to the Player who has either taken the most wickets or scored the most runs. The Player is awarded with Rs 12 Lakhs.

7. Game Changer 

The Player who has suddenly changed the game due to exceptional batting or bowling, a reward of Rs 12 lakhs is given to the Player.

8. Maximum sixes 

The Player with the most sixes in the season, an amount of Rs 12 Lakhs, is given to the Player.
