India tour of South Africa schedule: South Africa vs India 2023-24 Schedule, Fixture, Match Time Table, Venue, Date & Time:  On July 14, 2023, BCCI and CSA announced the schedule for India’s tour of South Africa, which will begin from December 10, 2023 to January 7, 2024. 

India will play a multi-format series in South Africa, which begins on December 10 with the T20I series and ends on January 7 with the Test series. India’s tour of South Africa consists of 3 T20Is, followed by 3 ODIs and two Tests. 

India tour of South Africa will start with a T20 series; the first match was scheduled at Durban, the second at Gqeberha, and the last at Johannesburg. The ODI series will begin from December 17 to 21 December. The first match of the ODI series is scheduled at Johannesburg, while the Second and third matches are scheduled at Gqeberha and Paarl. 

Freedom Series was a part of the World Test Championship Cycle 2023-25. The Freedom Series will begin with the Boxing Day Test Match on December 26 at Centurion, While the New Year’s Test match is scheduled from January 3 to 7 January 2024, at Cape Town.

South Africa and India fans are excited to watch the South Africa vs India Test match in Centurion and Cape Town. Huge Fans from India will come to the tourist destination of South Africa, Cape Town, which will host the India Vs South Africa New Year’s Test match on January 2, 2024.

India’s Skipper Rohit Sharma will lead Indian Team in the South Africa tour, while Timba Bavuma will lead South Africa in Test and ODI Tests, and Aiden Markram will lead South Africa in the T20I series.

Previously India toured South Africa in 2021-22 and played three test matches and three ODI matches. The result of both series came in favor of the home team; South Africa defeated India in the Test series by 2-1, while in the ODI series by 3-0. But currently, the Indian team is stronger than the South African team, so we can expect that India will perform outstandingly in the upcoming series.
